Overview
The Annual Juried Student Art Show is a nearing century-old tradition, intended to showcase the best of the School of Art. Students from all SOA majors are invited to submit their work, some of which are chosen for exhibition. My team in Studio 165+ developed the idea of using animals to represent each major, culminating in a nature theme that effectively displays the beautiful variety of the School of Art.
My Contributions
The concept for the national parks theme was originally imagined by Cassie Pomierski, my team lead in Studio 165+. The idea was refined by the rest of the group, with multiple contributions regarding the animal representations. I developed the final main poster design, which I then individually translated into three formats (11" x 17", 8" x 8", 8.5" x 11"). The banner (17" x 34") was made in collaboration with team manager Anna McCreary .
